Trixie, My Shetland Pony shares memories of Ed's first pony. Picture yourself riding, playing and taking care of your very own horse. Each day brought something new to your experience of learning on the prairie. He has summer days riding Trixie through the stock pond and shares how the pony is a comfort on those cold winter days. Keller once again weaves a memory story of his first horse, Trixie, along with all of the events that make this an exceptional experience for the young reader.
