This book is the result of over thirty years of research. All information contained in this book was obtained directly from archived records and personal interviews. In the search for information, the author made numerous trips to Ukraine, Russia, and Germany. The book is the accumulation of the most comprehensive Goldate/Goldade ancestral linkage records. In addition to the ancestral information of family charts and lineage, the book also contains a harrowing story of a displaced Goldade family fleeing from the carnage during World War II, and their ultimate demise.

The author writes in the Note: “This book does not replace my original book, The Goldade Family History with Memories of the Village of Selz. This book will clarify and correct several entries in the original book. The clarification and corrections are the result of some newly found documents.”
